One sign is intended for use on the types of premises where a holder of a concealed hand gun license may lawfully possess a concealed hand gun: establishments licensed to sell alcoholic beverages for off-premises consumption or, if licensed for sale for on-premises consumption, establishments whose alcohol sales are 50% or less of total gross receipts. Here is text taken from the Texas Alcohol and Beverage Commission website: "All alcoholic beverages retailers must post one of two firearms signs. Since we serve both wine and beer, we are required by law to display a sign stating in the information that you have quoted. This policy falls under both Texas law for firearms and Texas law for serving alcoholic beverages. We've specified, as you've stated, that only "Unlicensed possession of a handgun on these premises in prohibited." This policy was only created to keep our clientele as safe as possible. To our understanding, concealed carry of a handgun requires a "shall-issue" license, and is subject to specific laws governing trespass while armed. We apologize if our policy on firearms is a detraction from dining with us again. We're grateful and humbled that you enjoyed your dining experience with us. Hi ncflightmedic, thank you for your review. We do our best to ensure that every guest enjoys their experience, whether or not they personally enjoyed the food. If one of the servers was informed that you did not enjoy your meal, we would have substituted your dish or comped your meal. Each server has been trained to attend to their tables multiple times during their visit and every server always asks if the food was to the guest's liking. We have strict guidelines in place for every single server. Now in terms of "not caring" after you supposedly informed us of the issues with your dishes is inherently impossible. In terms of why the restaurant wasn't that busy when you dined in with us was because you probably dined in during our lunch, which, because of our location, is a much smaller crowd than our dinners. Our dishes are designed to highlight the ingredients we utilize, instead of over saucing, over salting or over seasoning our dishes however, for guests that wish for their dishes to be stronger tasting, we do our best to be as accommodating as possible. The Spring Rolls we utilize have never seen the inside of a freezer. Our Spring Rolls are not out of a frozen box we hand make and hand roll them every single day. Each bowl is catered to the guest's preference. While we do utilize a hot sauce that goes on top of the soup, this is done to accommodate guests who enjoy the soup with no heat element or for those that enjoy the soup very spicy. Dear Monzingo1, the Hot and Sour Soup does not come with Louisiana hot sauce on top.
